Increase and improve employment opportunities in the state by unlocking and harnessing the opportunities within the circular economy to reduce GHG emissions in line with the state’s resilience plan and actions.

The OCCE shall formulate, consolidate, develop, and review existing and future gaps in adopting adaptation plans and strategies.

To project and amplify the State Government efforts as recognizable globally for marketing and business development.

The Office should also be responsible for submitting and periodically updating an adaptation communication to the UNFCCC through the Nations Climate Change Council. This will enable recognition of the adaptation efforts of Lagos State and, in particular, the comprehensive and transparent assessment of financial needs to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change.
